A campus area network (can), within a limited geographical area local area network (LAN) is a network of interconnecting. A metropolitan area can be considered a form of network, specific to an educational environment.
In a complex case based campus area network, network, academic departments, university libraries and students in campus buildings, including homes, a kind of link is likely. A campus area network is larger than a local area network, but a Wide Area Network (WAN) (in some cases) is small.
The main purpose of a campus area network, Internet and university resources for students to access facilities. It is a network that connects two or more LANS, but that such a university campus, industrial complex, office building, or as a military base is limited to a specific geographic area and neighborhood. Can (metropolitan area network) can be considered a type of person, but common as a common man is limited to small areas. To use this term more often for contiguous area network implementation is discussed. It should not be confused with a Controller Area Network. A relatively short-range network devices on a LAN connects. Building a network of offices, school or home is usually a single LAN, though sometimes one building will include some small LANS (perhaps one per room), and occasionally a LAN will be one group of buildings close to.
